Danielle Birch
Danielle Birch (sexual health educator), lives with her partner and their cat Juniper on the edge of the Coast Mountains and Salish Sea, on the unceded and occupied territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Səl̓ílwətaʔ (Tsleil-Watuth), and Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish Nations), colonially known as Vancouver BC. Danielle lives with chronic pain and illness disabilities. Her main work of the last few decades has been as a counsellor and educator in the realm of sexual and reproductive health, but she also has a background in anti-violence, accessibility and community development. She loves writing, photography, seasonal witchery, and the more than human world. You can find her online at @wildbluegrace on Instagram.
It’s been an honour for her to participate in this project, in hopes that it will bring gentle exploration and a spirit of unruliness to your experience of this often difficult but also transformative time of life.
